Booked for 17 people for my birthday - the customer service was fantastic - I was emailed the menu so that everyone could pre-order - I emailed them back the day before with the order. The whole experience was brilliant - all the starters came out together (black pudding and pancetta salad was amazing!)the plates were cleared quickly and mains brought out - I don't think that there was one complaint! Cheesy disco music after - and the DJ plays your requests straight away - I would reccommend Nicholsons for any occasion where you want great food and a dance after.

Went back for the first time in a few months and noticed a big improvement. The food is very good - the trio of mushrooms especially nice. And so nice that you can sit anywhere inside now there is the smoking ban!!

Homegrown, an excellent 7 piece UB40 tribute band with full brass section are playing here on 17th May 2007. Not to be missed.
