Visited the Bunga Raya for the first time last week and we are sure to be back again soon. This place is a little gem that seems to be hidden away despite its A6 location. I wanted to take my wife somewhere special for our wedding anniversary. She is from Malaysia and from our frequent visits there I too have become a big fan of Malaysian cooking especially from hawker street vendors. Something I have not had in the UK was an authentic Char kway teow (spellings differ from establishment to establishment)but that changed for me at the Bunga raya and for a moment I was back in Penang with an extra spicy version of the dish. Thank You. We also had some starters of chicken dumplings and chicken satay, and main courses of drunken chicken and crispy roast duck. All were fantastic, well prepared and very tasty. The service was great too. It is only a small place so best to book in advance but I can not recommend it highly enough. Full marks

We have been eating at bunga raya for about five years. Peter and Jasmine are fantastic hosts the food and service is amazing. We have had many great nights out there.
