We left feeling ripped off and pretty disappointed. We felt it was an extremely dear bill for the food quantity and quality as well as the ambiance of the place. The lights were bright giving the feeling of a cafe rather than a Saturday night restaurant. The food tasted nice enough but I only had 3 cubes of beef in my Boeuf Bourguignon and even had to query if I had been under served - I was told this was the correct amount and so I couldn't have any more! Compared to my husband's Lamb Tagine which had about 3x the amount of meat I felt very hard done by. Then to end the meal, my dessert of warm poached pear was served cold. As we left we saw there was a prix fixe menu we weren't even offered. To say this is a newly opened restaurant from an established chain with pleasant enough staff I think they need to try harder and review their high prices.

Really disappointing. My husband & I went for dinner, and noticed the 'evening menu' of 2 courses for 13.95, which I thought was reasonable so when I checked with the waitress which meals were applicable & was told any, I was amazed at the deal!! I double checked as I thought it was too good to be true, and yet again told it was any meal and starter we liked! So you can imagine my horror when the bill arrived, and there was no meal deal. When I asked the waitress about this, said she simply said 'It turns out you couldnt have it'. I was so upset, but she had been lovely until then and I didnt want to make a scene in front of other customers, so I paid. I was quite upset about it,as I really couldnt afford this, so I went back to give some feedback to the manager. I wasnt looking for compensation, I just really wanted to express my dissatisfaction. The manager took my phone number and promised to call in a few days to invite us for a meal. Over a month later and we are still waiting for that call. What a shame as otherwise the place is lovely & the food excellent, but I would not go back as I felt somewhat ripped off.

chose sparkling wine didn't have it, chose rose, didn't have it, chose another rose, didn't have it. So ended up with wine that was our 4th choice. Food very very poor - undercooked fish, weird combinations of flavours - unappetising presentation, no atmosphere. Expensive. Wouldn't go back or recommend.
