Yet again another fabulous meal and excellent service from Oscars. The International party that we were entertaing comment on a great choice of restaurant and would love to visit again.

Two of us went to dinner last night at Oscar's. The restaurant was only partly full, but still had a nice atmosphere. The tables were far enough apart that, even had it been full, there would have still been privacy at each table. The waiting staff were helpful and attentive. I had leek and potato soup followed by the paprika and rosemary chicken, and my partner had the devilled kidneys followed by braised lamb shank. The soup was one of the best I had ever had, including lovely parsnip shaving crisps on top. My partner was equally impressed by his starter. Our only slight reservation was the lack of interesting breads brought for the starter. My main course was beautifully cooked and presented. The side dish of vegetables was also perfectly cooked. My partner's lamb looked perfect and simply fell off the bone. The house red was nice, though nothing particularly noteworthy. We were both too full to attempt a dessert!

Absolutely superb, fabulous service, friendly and welcoming, gorgeous fresh food and I suffer from loads of food allergies and they were really accommodating and made me feel very relaxed. Would highly recommend.
