*** Closed in July 09 *** Guava Mexican Restaurant and Wine Bar has established itself as the areas leading contemporary Mexican Restaurant, offering stylish food in modern surroundings, to a loyal customer base.

Recently refitted, Guava's interior is full of rich maroons, candlelit tables, comfortable leather seating, and 2 designated party areas, where you sit in an opulent leather booth with your closest friends, the walls are littered with authentic Mexican Mining certificates and old banknotes, and the odd vintage comic!

We now offer 2 different dining experiences, Brasserie by day and Trendy Mexican by night. Our lunchtime menu offers everything from traditional welsh rarebit to Fajitas, and our dinner menu a wide range of mexican and tex-mex dishes, from Chef's own chilli, his famous hot fillet burger (served with iced water) and ribs, to Xin-xim, mexican Lamb and a wide range of fish dishes. Not forgetting our extensive cocktail menu...

We care about children at Guava, and so children upto 10 eat free with us, from Chefs own menu, all prepared fresh and free from added salts.

Concious of the pound in your pocket, we always have weekday offers, from all you can eat rib night with a pint fot £10, to local night, where the specials are made using only local produce from within 5 miles from the restaurant.
