Love this place. dog friendly which matters to me but beyond that the food service and atmosphere are exceptional

We booked the Handbridge for our engagement party, and we have to say that Allison and her staff made the evening an incredibly enjoyable experience. We've been fans of the Handbridge for some time. They have the best beer garden in Chester for those hot Summer days, and we've recently discovered their weekly steak nights (2 great steaks and bottle of house wine for £20 - AWESOME!). We booked the Handbridge, and also asked them to provide a buffet. They were really flexible with the menu options, and when we arrived everything was set up ready for us. The venue is just the right size for our party of 30 people, with enough room that you don't feel overcrowded. We're clearly huge fans of the Handbridge, I can't recommend it enough. The food is really high quality, locally sourced. They do great comfort food, and the bar stocks a wide range of drinks including some very nice cask ales. To end, when you go to the Handbridge it feels comfortable. Warm and welcoming,great food and drink, and and always a great buzz.
