About The Swan at Marbury

This classic old English farmhouse pub, licensed as far back as the 1750's, now an excellent destination food house, retaining traditional public house atmosphere, in the centre of the beautiful village of Marbury, right on the village green. The Swan Inn has a bright warm lounge bar with guest ales, and a cosy restaurant with an open fire. Serving local produce on a traditional home cooked food menu, served daily. There's a large beer garden, and we also have horses in the stables and the paddock or you can sit on the green and admire the 200 year old oak tree. There are some wonderful local walks - the views from the ancient Norman church across the lake, and the Cheshire Plains from the top of Marbury Hill, are idyllic. The Inn is only half a mile from the Llangollen canal which makes it very popular with boaters. Walkers, Cyclists, Motor Bikers and Dogs all welcome. Jackie is the new Manager , who has extensive experience in the catering trade. The Swan reopened in October 2012
