Situated on the corner of Exmouth market Cottons captures the tropical ambience of the West Indies both in its décor, its Rum Bar and its legendary Caribbean Cuisine. The large restaurant which opens out into a lounge bar serves great Caribbean Classics such as Salt Fish Fritters (£4.50), Jerk Chicken Skewers (£4.95) or the veggie friendly Sweet Potato and Callaloo Tart (£4.75). Mains include Cotton?s Curry Goat with Rice and Peas, Trinidadian Mixed Fish Curry and a Platter of Roasted Caribbean Vegetables with Pumpkin Fritters all at £12.50. If possible leave room for their Homemade Chocolate and Rum Cake (£4.50). Every Sunday from 1pm there?s a Gospel Choir filling the place with music whilst you tuck into a stuffed Roti (£5.50) or authentic Jamaican pattie (£3.75) from their Lunch Menu.
