About The Camellia Restaurant
The Camellia Restaurant is housed in the historic South Lodge Hotel in Lower Beeding. The hotel was built as a house in 1883 and has been maintained as a plush testament to Victorian times. The restaurant was once the house's main dining room and now serves guests in spectacular surroundings. The menu is based on quality not quantity; at the time of writing, there are a select number of dishes to choose from - but what a choice! They include saddle of venison, cep polenta, root vegetables with white and dark chocolate sauces, pork with apple compote, sherry reduction and cinnamon foam and lobster with spaghetti and foam. Believe it or not, a fixed dinner here costs just £46 per person for three courses. Fine dining at fine prices.
