The wonderfully-named Truckles of Pied Bull Yard is situated close to the Holborn and Tottenham Court Road tube stations in Central London. It is designed as a traditional Ale and Port house, with sawdust-covered floors and candlelit tables. As well as a fantastic array of beers and wines to choose from, truckles also offers hot and cold bar snacks throughout the day. The dinner menu is very British, offering dishes such as chicken liver pate, bangers and mash with onion gravy and treacle tart with clotted cream. Three courses at Truckles will cost an average of £35 per person - great food at great prices.
