My wife and I went last night and found it excellent-friendly and attentive waiters served beautifully cooked food. It's a bit small, but that adds to the intimacy of the place. Mike Jennings has got just right, with some unusual and tasty dishes on the menu. Will be back.

My husband and I have been to Grenache a few times now and can never wait to go back. It's not just about the fabulous food (Dutch fondue with chorizio - divine!) but also about the excellent service and atmosphere. The food is always to a very high standard, the house wine is better than most restaurants 'best' and the 'amuse bouches' always leave the bouche very amused indeed. The service is above any other restaurant I have visited yet in the UK. The manager knows if you have visited before or not - if you've not been before you're greeted warmly, if you have visited before you're treated like an old friend. Mind, the banter to be had as a returning customer is a lot of fun and amusement! The rest of the staff are professional, friendly and above all polite - an exceedingly and, alas, increasingly rare quality in today's UK restaurants. The prices are not cheap, but not extravagant either and the special offers that are available are more than worth it. As a whole, I love coming to this restaurant as much for the experience as for the fantastic food.

Visited Grenache for the first time on a Friday evening for my birthday. Food was fantastic, as was the service, the atmosphere and everything else about Grenache. Will definitely be paying many more visits to the restaurant.
