I went here with a group of girlfriends when visiting them up in Manchester, I was a little apprehensive when I first saw the bar as it looked very impressive, however I was please to find all the staff were very friendly, there was definitely a great sense of community in there. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there was a very mixed bar, they appeared very busy but still provided a very personalised approach. The cocktails are some of the best I have ever seen, and as I wasn't sure what to have the bartender even offered to tailor make me a drink by asking me what my favourite spirit was. The food was also delicious and very reasonably priced. Safe to say we stayed there all afternoon and into the evening. I wished I hadn't had to leave when it came to it, as it really started to turn into a party bar. We will certainly be returning again.

We decided to go here for a drink whilst we decided where to go for a bite to eat. We looked at the menu and decided to stay and we were glad we did. The staff were great, the atmosphere was great and so was the food (seabass and cray fish salad). Would highly recommend!

I visited the Alchemist with my boyfriend on my birthday last week. From start to finish we had a wonderful time. Our waiter (James) was very efficient and attentive and the food was truly delectable. I had the spring rolls and steak sandwich and my boyfriend had the fish cakes and chicken fajitas. We both enjoyed a couple of cocktails too. I'd recommend this restaurant 100% and can't wait to go back for another charming evening.
