We went on a Friday night, place was very busy with a nice atmosphere. Service was friendly and quick. The food generally was really nice, fresh and very tasty - Tuna was a highlight. Not a cheap meal but worth it.

I took my mother to Cicchetti for an early Mother's Day treat - we'd been to the original San Carlo before and thought the food excellent but the service was 'patchy'. Cicchetti matches the food quality of its big brother but the service is professional and friendly. All the dishes we tried - from the fried zucchini up to a 'golden risotto' (with scampi and - yes - real gold leaf) were excellent. A fillet of sea bass was perfectly cooked, a carpaccio of beef was delicious too. The restaurant is extremely stylish and has an excellent, bustling atmosphere. From the queues outside and the eager customers waiting at the bar, its clearly a winner. Highly recommended.
