Back under the experienced management of Adam Roberts, The Bridge Inn is once again a thriving pub. With a warm welcoming environment, canal-side beer garden that catches the sun all day, sports on screen, and board games, The Bridge is an ideal place to while away your time.
Chef Neil Herbert cooks up the best food in the area, supporting local produce, with a specialism of tasty burgers - all at very reasonable prices.
Choice ales, premium spirits and a quality wine list compliment Neil's food.
Monday night offers 2-4-1 on main meals, Wednesday is Burger Night (huge burger and a house drink for £10), punters are welcome to join an inclusive poker session on Thursday night, Friday is Steak Night (buy 2 steaks and receive a complimentary bottle of wine), with roasts on a Sunday followed by a lively quiz and Play Your Cards Right (often with a rather large rollover up for grabs).
Big groups are welcome, as are children and dogs.
A large function room is available for hire; an ideal meeting place for groups, a space to watch sport in peace with your mates, or the perfect venue for a party.
There's a programme of special events to keep everyone entertained, with a Beer Festival for the Rugby World Cup taking place 25-27 September 2015, and a series of film, music, and food nights in the pipeline.
