About The Glass House Restaurant

The restaurant occupies a cleverly restored, Grade II listed building dating from the 15th Century that operated as a fulling mill (making cloth fuller) and saw mill. The Glass House Restaurant, Ambleside lies at the centre of this most beautiful corner of England and at its culinary heart. We use the freshest local produce from the Lakeland fells and farms, and fuse classic British dishes with European menus.
