A fantastic experience from start to finish. Polite knowledgeable staff both in the bar and the restaurant. The manager was very personable and made us feel very welcome and at home. The food was superbly cooked and well presented, good, hearty, wholesome traditional British Fayre. We would thoroughly recommend Sam's to anyone who wants the ultimate British experience! Great food served properly in a traditional Victorian setting.

We went for lunch when in town last weekend. we had a sandwhich platter thing between 3 of us (reccommended for 2 or 3), but filled us up. Drinks usual town prices. Good food and service.
