Established in 1976, the original Corner Cafe was a small transport cafe serving Indian food as a side line. As one of the first Indian restaurants to open in Leeds the Corner Cafe has gone from strength to strength and now has a loyal following.

We are not your standard Indian restaurant. Here at The Corner Cafe we do things a bit differently. We might not play Bollywood tunes and our waiters and waitresses do not wear traditional Indian dress, but the atmosphere and the welcome is always warm.

Our recipies are based on Karim's grandmother's home cooking from Dehli using fresh ingredients with the minimum of ghee. Karim likes to say that a night out at The Corner Cafe is "simple food, shared in good company".
